Parks

The Town of Victor has assembled an incredibly rich and varied park and recreation system. With more than 450 acres of parkland and more than 70 miles of multi-use trails under its management, it is one of the most significant systems in the region. 

The Victor Park system is further enriched and expanded by Dryer Road Park’s adjacency to the 520-acre Ganondagan State Historic Site, the shared ownership of the 330-acre Boughton Park in the neighboring towns of East and West Bloomfield, and the strong connection the town has with the neighboring community of Farmington and its developing park and recreation program. 

Victor’s recreation system is particularly unique due to the dramatic glacial terrain and picturesque stream corridors found in some town parks and trails. Victor’s natural landscape provides an enticing first impression of the dramatic Finger Lakes region located just a short distance to the south. The town’s geographic location and recreation infrastructure explains why so many cyclists favor routes that include Victor.

Composed of more than 70 miles of trails, a dedicated parks and recreation center, approximately 457 acres of parkland, and an additional 330 acres of parkland within the neighboring Boughton Park, the existing network of parks and facilities in the Town of Victor provide residents and visitors with diverse opportunities for both passive and active recreation.

Currently Undeveloped: The 16-acre parcel was acquired by the Town in 2005 and while it is not currently developed, the existing master plan for the park includes provisions for a community recreation center, athletic fields, pickleball courts, a picnic area and pavilion, and an outdoor classroom with wetland education stations and an adventure play area! The park also boasts the potential for bicycle and pedestrian connectivity to Victor Municipal Park (located on the west side of Brace Road) and to the Auburn Trail (located to the south).
