Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day (see flyer)

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Casella Recycling Facility
No electronics will be accepted.
Collection Event
This event is held 2 times a year and usually advertised in the newspaper and posted on our calendar.
This event is free and open to residents of Ontario County only. Pre-registration and proof of residency are required. No business or farm waste will be accepted.
Casella reserves the right to reject any waste unidentified, deemed unacceptable by the disposal firm, or of excessive volume.

Online registration will be available for all events, except the Household Hazardous Waste Events. Links for online registration and a contact number will be provided once the registration period opens. Please note that registration for many of our events fills quickly.
All of our events are open to Ontario County residents only and all residentially generated material will be accepted at no charge again this year
There are programs for free and convenient collection of paint, stains, and primers and electronic waste through drop-off locations located throughout the county and open year round. We are still accepting these materials at their dedicated collection events, but there is no need to wait. Click the links above for more information and a list of drop off locations.
