Annual Election of the Fishers Fire District

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Fishers Fire District will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 between the hours of 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Fishers Fire Station located at 380 High Street, Victor, NY, for the purpose of electing three (3) Fire Commissioners: one for a five-year (5) term commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028; one for a three year (3) term commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2026; and one for a one-year (1) term commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024 . Registered candidates, as well as a blank space for write-in candidates for each office, will be placed on the ballot.
Qualifications for Voting - Only those persons registered with the Ontario County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2023 shall be eligible to vote. Voters must also reside in the Fishers Fire District. No absentee ballots are permitted.
