LEGAL NOTICE
A public hearing will be held before the Town of Victor Zoning Board of Appeals on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY to consider the following applications.
CHAMPION RESERVE TOWNHOMES, 530 and 531 Championship Drive, the applicant is requesting approval to retain 2 existing project entry sign lights at the intersection of Championship Drive and Gillis Road where section165 – 4 A. (6) states all signs that are lit must be designed as to reflect light and glare away from surrounding properties and the right-of-way and not be greater than necessary to make sign legible at night from the right-of-way. Lighting among signs shall be consistent with surrounding signs. Section 131-9 A. (3) states light trespass to adjacent property must not exceed 0.2 footcandles as measured, in all orientations, at the ground along property boundaries. Section 131-9 A. (4) states directional light fixtures such as floodlights and spotlights must be installed and aimed at an angle no higher than 45 degrees above nadir and shall not shine directly onto neighboring properties, public rights-of-way, or distribute light skyward. Light trespass to adjacent property must not cast a hard-edged shadow on adjacent dwellings. The parcel lies within the Residential 2 district and is owned by Fairview Ponds, LLC.
